I started meeting with Stan once or twice a week halfway through my sophomore year. I had a B- in Algebra 2 Honors. Stan helped me study for my last few chapter tests of the year and ace my final. I ended the semester with a B+ in the class thanks to Stan. Stan was kind enough to keep tutoring me through my junior year and he made Pre Calc Honors a breeze. He was so flexible with his schedule and when I was really struggling, he brought in a personal tutor for me so I could get some one-on-one help. Stan is brilliant with anything relating to Algebra and he was a huge help with Trigonometry. His practice tests really helped me study for chapter tests. Plus going over my tests with Stan helped me to understand my mistakes. He once set aside two and a half hours on his weekend to give me a seriously needed tutoring session on conic sections. Stan is awesome and so approachable as a tutor and he is a wonderful person and so friendly. He is a joy to work with.
I started going to Stan as a freshman when I was really struggling in Algebra 1. I had a D in the first semester and did not understand the way my teacher taught. I heard about Stan from a friend who was in my class and said he really helped her a lot. I started going to Stan and immediately my D turned into an A-, and for once I really understood the math! In Geometry, Stan got me through the chapters and pushed me until I really knew what I was doing. In Algebra 2 I flew through the year and was so confident that I could do math and really know what I was doing. Stan is not only smart, he is extremely patient and teaches in a way that makes sense and makes math so much easier.

Nick taught me to solve equations, inequalities, add/subtract positive and negative numbers. Using the whiteboard helped me understand the concepts better and made the learning more interactive. The tutoring center is very comfortable and the environment is productive.
My 16-year-old son has always struggled with Algebra. He'd become frustrated very easily and would often mentally shut down in spite of the efforts of teachers, parents and tutors. Stan set my son's work pace at a level that he could handle and kept him motivated with gentle but persistent encouragement. We were very relieved to find Stan. He's great at the basics, assessing each student and defining a program for their success, lecturing so it makes sense, keeping kids accountable, and using practice tests that correspond to the actual exams. But just as importantly, he conveys an effective method of learning math that can be applied to topics beyond what he's currently teaching.

After many years of struggling with Algebra and going to mediocre math tutors I was introduced to Stan and his talented staff. He initially saved my daughter from failing 10th grade Algebra and then got her through Geometry as well. His patient demeanor and his total dedication to each student as an individual makes for a winning combination for your child. I have never seen so much individual attention from any other tutor. If he sees issues, he addresses them immediately and keeps the parents involved through email. Stan takes each child's success very seriously and will stay on top of any issue that affects performance or attitude. We have gone on to have our second child tutored by one of his assistants and have been very happy with the service provided as well. I went to Stan for my Junior year and I was really impressed at everything Stan had to offer. He's obviously very intelligent and is also good with teens. He knows how to motivate us and does whatever it take to fulfill our needs. Also the environment we work in is great. Its a comfortable room with really nice comfy chairs and all the proper utensils. It's always quiet which makes it easy to learn. When it comes to math he is serious, but is also very easy to talk to and he takes a personal interest in our lives. He helped me a lot, and I appreciate what he has done for me.
