While in Algebra 2/Trig, I came to Aletech and was quickly evaluated and tutored by one of the tutors there (Stan). In the time that I was there, my overall grade in the class rose from a 56% F to an ~86% B+. The change was not only rapid but stayed until the end of the year. My overall performance and ability to endure solving problem after problem was improved exponentially with their help. Our daughter was really struggling with Geometry. After months of insisting she see her teacher for after school assistance that wasn't working, we met with Stan. In a short time, Stan had her understanding concepts and moved her ahead of the class. More than helping her bring up her grade, he restored her confidence and she actually raised her hand to answer questions in class, something she never would or could have done before.
